Prevent Accidental Clicks with Not So Fast
Not So Fast is a free Chrome extension developed by Aitan Grossman. It falls under the category of Browsers and specifically the subcategory of Add-ons & Tools.
Not So Fast aims to solve the problem of accidental clicks caused by elements moving around on the page. Often, when we try to click on something, another button or link takes its place at the last moment. This can be frustrating and lead to unintended actions, such as pressing the wrong button or opening dangerous links.
With Not So Fast, the extension detects when elements have moved near your mouse and sets up a short "grace period" where any accidental clicks are ignored. This prevents such unintended actions and helps you maintain your focus on the intended target.
In addition to preventing accidental clicks, Not So Fast also enhances security by reducing the risk of opening dangerous links. It also reduces the cognitive load of using your pointing device, resulting in a more pleasant browsing experience.
Please note that the extension is currently in beta, and the developer, Aitan Grossman, welcomes feedback from users.
